Chatsworth House is a stately home in Derbyshire, around 3.5 miles north of Bakewell. It is the seat of the Duke Of Devonshire, and has been home to his family (the Cavendish family) since 1553. It is open to the public throughout the year, and has become a popular Derbyshire attraction. It is set in a large parkland area, and the house is home to many fine art pieces, antique fuirniture, sculptures, and more. It is consitently voted one of Britains Best Stately Homes and Country Houses year after year.
There is lots too see and do at Chatsworth in addition to the beautiful house its self their are also extensive gardens, a farmyard, an adventure playground, award winning farm shops, restaurants and a 1000 acre park to explore.
