The beautiful, open and sunny front garden with its low stone wall, lovely plants and immaculate lawn commands excellent views of the old stone-built village of Kirk Ireton; the famous 18th century ‘Barley Mow’ pub and village shop are just twenty yards away down the hill. Sit on the garden bench with a gin and tonic and enjoy watching the world go by.

The French windows of the living room lead onto the perfectly private patio at the back of the cottage with its gorgeous twisted tables and seats that seem to have materialised straight out of a fairy tale!

While you’re out exploring the area, you might like to choose some delicious meat from one of the many local independent butchers to cook on the excellent hand-crafted barbeque. The kitchen door opens directly onto the patio so it’s easy to nip inside for extra ketchup!

A few steps take you down into the sunken area and the Scandinavian-style cabin with its cosy and comfortable seats. Wrap yourself in one of the warm fluffy robes and relax before soaking your cares away in the lovely bubbling water of the large Canadian hot tub. For added convenience, the downstairs wet room with toilet can be accessed from the patio.

Luxury and comfort are the order of the day at Heather Cottage and we are sure that our delightful hot tub area will be extremely popular with all our guests.
