The stunning stone fireplace, this room’s centrepiece, is just one of Heather Cottage’s original features that have been lovingly restored.
A warm and sunny room, the living room has elegant French windows to the back and a large, deep-seated window overlooking the village to the front.
Beautiful oak beams, original artwork, deep oak window sills and warm subtle lighting blend with the honey colour of the floor tiles and the sumptuous soft furnishings to create a delightfully cosy ambiance.
Lie back on the gorgeous soft leather sofa to watch the 40” TV or simply allow yourself to drift away lulled by the hypnotic dancing flames of the hand-crafted tunnel fire.
Another view of the living room fire can be enjoyed from the adjoining Snug.
The natural stone tiles of the living room run through into this room as does the warm cosy ambiance provided by the the soft lighting, oak beams and beautiful fabrics.
This room could function in a variety of ways depending upon your requirements: if you wish to use it as a second bedroom, the luxurious bed-settee can be made up and the adjoining wet room used as an en-suite (there is a pretty screen to place near to the glass-fronted tunnel fire in order to make the room private); if you would like to use the room as a dining room, there is a lovely dining table in here; the room could be used as a second sitting room with views of the fields and the 18th century farm behind the cottage.
The beautifully tiled wet room with shower, sink and toilet can also be accessed from outside which is very convenient when using the hot tub.
