DO NOT GO TO DANNAH FARM COUNTRY HOUSE, if you expect to step outside of the door and have buses, taxi's and railway stations nearby. Shopping Centres, and being in the middle of a town/city.
DO GO TO DANNAH FARM COUNTRY HOUSE, if you want peace, tranquility, lovely rolling countryside views and LUXURY
My wife and I stayed at Dannah Farm, 22nd - 24th January 2010. It is off the main road
Upon arrival we were shown to a small parlour, whilst they checked if the room (Granary Suite) was ready. Whilst waiting tea/coffee and a plate of lovely homemade cakes were supplied.
Shortly after we were taken to the suite. When the door was opened all we could say is "Wow". The styple of the suite is based on old world, with nice nuances, which have to be seen to be believed. All the bathroom accessories i.e. soaps shampoo's are supplied.
There are different rooms within the farm, all of differing styles.
Regarding the staff, if you want to make conversation, they will willingly stop and talk to you, however if you want to keep to yourself, then that is your choice.
If you are on a diet, strongly advise you suspend it. The breakfast's will fill you up for the
day. Everything is locally sourced and cooked fresh. so if all rooms are occupied expect to wait about 15-20 minutes to arrive fresh and pipeing hot. Bread is freshly cooked for you.
We ordered a cold meat platter for the Saturday night. It was absolutely brilliant, various meats, cheeses, pates, coleslaw, salad and more than enough for two people.
For this type of luxury in a Large city hotel expect to pay at least £750 per night , in London £1750.00.
How can you improve on Perfect?
To all of you at Dannah, Thanks it was great and we will be back.
Regards
Ian & Sandra Brown, Milton Keynes UK
