Dannah Cottages are two stunning 5 star self catering cottages – Heather Cottage and Honeysuckle Cottage – in the pretty conservation village of Kirk Ireton. Owned by, and run as, a joint venture between Joan Slack (who also runs Dannah Farm) and Helen Slack (the wife of Joan’s eldest son).
Heather and Honeysuckle cottages are luxurious, romantic and intimate retreats-each one just for two. The cottages are situated next to one another but are completely separate and completely unique. Relax under the stars in the bubbling hot-tub (each cottage has its own private hot-tub – absolutely no sharing here!!) Watch the world go by from the window of the beautiful master bedrooms, stretch out on the soft leather sofas in the cosy and intimate sitting rooms or stroll round the lovely country lanes.
Of course, as you would expect in such special and luxurious cottages, all linen, towels, robes, slippers and toiletries are provided. We also make sure there are some essentials waiting to help you settle in on your first evening, along with those unexpected little wine and chocolate touches which are sure to make all the difference!
Situated in the picturesque village of Kirk Ireton in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, within easy reach of the many charming country towns and popular tourist attractions, Heather and Honeysuckle Cottages offer boutique self-catering, taken to new heights. Think five star hotel without the intrusion of any staff!
Dannah Farm is just a short drive away Dannah Farm and as part of your stay at either cottage you have an open invitation to come up to Dannah Farm for a full Derbyshire farmhouse breakfast (if the ‘self’ in ‘self-catering’ seems a little too much like hard work).
