Accommodation rates. Prices quoted are per room per night and include a full English farmhouse breakfast and VAT at 20.0%. We reserve the right to review and alter prices at any time.

Weekends. We offer a minimum two-night stay over weekends and are not able to offer single night stays on a Friday or Saturday evening unless certain circumstances allow for this. Where a single night is available at a weekend it will be made available on-line, or over the telephone at the management’s discretion.

Check-in is from 3.30pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 11.30am on the day of departure.These times can sometimes be flexible with prior notice, and if an earlier or later check in/out is required, we will make every effort to accommodate. However, we will not be able to guarantee either an early check-in or a late check-out.

On-line bookings. A non-refundable deposit, per room booked, will be required before the booking can be processed and confirmed. This will be £50 or 20% of the value of the accommodation booked, whichever is greater. This is payable via credit or debit card details entered securely through the booking site. Payment can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Delta cards. The balancing payment for the accommodation booked, will be due two weeks prior to arrival. This amount will be automatically taken from the card details provided on booking, unless we are contacted prior to this date and an alternative means of payment is provided. If we are unable to take the balance on the date it is due, we will make every reasonable effort to contact and notify the booker that the deposit is due; if we have not received a deposit 48 hours after the deposit is due, the booking will be cancelled, and the booker notified. Where a booking is made within two weeks of the arrival date, the full amount for the accommodation will be due at the time of booking.

Telephone bookings. We will ask for a £100 non-refundable deposit for bookings made over the telephone. Payment can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Delta cards. A record of card details taken will be held securely on file in case of cancellation. The balancing payment for the accommodation booked will be due on check-out.

Cancellation of on-line bookings. Bookings may be cancelled up two weeks prior to arrival, but the £100 deposit will be forfeit. Where a booking is cancelled within two weeks of the due date for arrival the full amount will be forfeit. Cancellations of on-line bookings should be made by e-mail, (there is no facility to cancel the booking on the on-line booking system), this way we will be able to process the cancellation and both parties will have a record of the cancellation. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation of telephone bookings. Bookings may be cancelled up two weeks prior to arrival, but the £100 deposit will be forfeit. Where a booking is cancelled within two weeks of the due date for arrival, the balance of the monies owed will become payable. All cancellations should be made by e-mail or post so that both parties have a record of the cancellation. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance in case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

Alcoholic beverages. We have a restaurant and residential licence and therefore, guests are respectfully asked not to bring their own wines and spirits on to the premises. Consumption of guests’ own beer, wines and spirits in the public areas is not allowed.

Take-away foods. We also ask that guests refrain from bringing takeaway food in to their rooms due to the risk of spillage and unpleasant, lingering odours.

Health & safety. Guests are reminded that we are situated on a working farm and safety is paramount. Care should be taken to supervise all children whilst out and about in the grounds, on the farm and in the surrounding countryside. Please follow the Countryside Code, keep to the footpaths and please close any gates you go through.

Accessibility. We are committed to doing all we can to make our accommodation accessible to all. If you have additional needs or special requirements, we will be very happy to discuss these with you.

Parking. We have ample, safe on-site parking, but this is at owners’ risk, (car and contents).

Damages. We reserve the right to charge for breakages and/or damages to Dannah Farm Country House, against the card held for payment. Persons making the booking will be held responsible for any damages.

Smoking. Guests are not allowed to smoke anywhere indoors, including the guest bedrooms and suites. As accommodation providers we could be fined up to £2500 if we fail to enforce the smoke-free laws, therefore, regrettably, anyone found to be smoking indoors will be liable to a cleaning charge of up to £250, payable against the credit card held to cover the booking. Smoking is allowed outside in the gardens and grounds.
